Livestock Sanitary Board records
The Livestock Sanitary Board was formed in 1889 for the inspection of livestock and for disease control. In 1916 the Board was reorganized under the State Board of Agriculture. The records of the Livestock Sanitary Board consist of minutes, charts, and publications relating to subjects such as dairy inspections, slaughter houses, and various medical issues including quarantine, serums, and disease.
