Murray Vandiver papers
Murray Vandiver (1845-1916) was a Maryland politician who held various positions at the local and state levels, including the mayorship of Havre de Grace, Maryland State Delegate, and Treasurer of the State of Maryland (1900-1915). He was also secretary of the Democratic State Central Committee from 1887 to 1892. The collection addresses the issues of state primaries, elections, political conventions, agriculture, railroads, and the packing and shipping business.
