It consists of newspaper clippings, minutes, constitutions, bylaws, reports, and publications. The collection is unprocessed but a preliminary inventory is available. Some items in this collection were used by University of Maryland history professor Stuart Kaufman from the private collection of nineteenth-century labor history materials owned by Paul Brenner to write his book A Vision of Unity: The History of the Bakery and Confectionery Workers International Union (1986).
