Abstract:

Richard Estep Lankford served as a Democrat in the Maryland House of Delegates and the United States House of Representatives from the 5th Congressional District. The collection includes press releases and correspondence which cover subjects such as national defense, pollution, and education. Mr. Lankford's papers are unprocessed, but a preliminary inventory is available.
