William F. Dove Collection
Abstract
Dove, a student at the University of Maryland in the early 1950s, took photographs of campus construction in 1954. The black-and-white snapshot collection, including images of Byrd Stadium, Cole Field House, Student Union, Fraternity Row, classroom buildings and dormitories, offers a unique glimpse of the campus during a period of tremendous growth. A preliminary inventory is available.
