Caption reads: "THE ORIGINAL STAR-SPANGLED BANNER FLAG, now in the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., was 30' x 42' - made of finest quality hand woven bunting. It was fashioned by Mary Young Pickersgill in her home, now The Flag House, Baltimore, Maryland. Fragments of this original flag are on exhibit in the Flag House Museum."
