Text on back of card reads: "Dear Laverne, This is the life! I would love to stay here all summer. We have all the modern conveniences of home here in the woods -- and that's just what we're in. Swimming is swell! Went horse back riding yesterday. (wasn't as rough as the strawride HA!) Went to Annapolis to go to church this morning -- went to the Naval Chapel. Couldn't miss the opportunity!
