Summary:U.S.S. Torsk, Baltimore, Maryland, circa 1970-1990. Postcard features two contemporary photographs and one WWII-era illustration of the U.S.S. Torsk, a submarine painted to look like a shark. Caption reads: "U.S.S. Torsk, 'The Galloping Ghost of the Japanese Coast.' This submarine, which fired the final torpedoes of World War II, is now a permanent part of Baltimore's Inner Harbor."
