Summary:Touro Synagogue, Newport, Rhode Island, circa 1948-1970. Caption reads: "Photograph shows the east wall and southeast corner. The Holy Ark is closed. Above the Ark are the Ten Commandments. The Ner Tamid (Perpetual Flame) and two candelabra, suspended from the ceiling, are in front of the Ark. On the balustrade are four candle sticks (gift of Enoch Lyon, 1766) and lectern."
