Caption reads: "Dining Room "Marble House" Bellevue Avenue, Newport, R.I. Walls of pink Numidian marble from North Africa. Mahogany table is 34 feet in length. Chairs and stools made in Paris, are of solid bronze covered in cut velvet brocade. Open to visitors under the auspices of the Preservation Society, April through October. (Admission Charge)." Message reads: "5/23/81 This is the great house we saw this morning; very beautiful. Running very late on this day tour. Love this place Bill & Jane".
