Summary:Soldiers Monument, Nashua, New Hampshire, circa 1901-1907. Postcard number: 5642. Caption reads: "The Soldiers Monument was erected by the city at a cost of $12,000. The corner stone was laid on Memorial Day (May 30th), 1889, by the Grand Army of the Republic, and the monument dedicated Oct 15th, 1889. In the corner stone is a list of 1,355 names of Nashua's soldiers and sailors who served in the Rebellion."
