Caption reads: "This view shows the house in which Lincoln died, where he was carried after being shot by John Wilkes Booth, April 14th, 1865. The assassination occurring in Ford's Theatre on the opposite side of the street. It is located at 516 10th St. N.W. between E and F Sts. and contains the Oldroyd Lincoln memorial collection begun by O. H.
