Summary:A receiver evades his would-be tackler and leaps, stretching out his fingertips for a pass that hangs in the air for an eternity. Etched with apprehension, the faces of teammates and opponents alike turn to watch the ball's pilgrimage as it traces a graceful arc over the dust and sweat.
