Summary:Mary O'Brian and Charlotte Lubbert of the Hagerstown Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), circa 1987. From an accompanying newspaper article, both "have been honored by the local group with named gifts in the amount of $500 each to provide advanced education for women beyond the bachelor's degree. A named gift to promote education is the highest tribute the local branch can give a member for service to the organization." At the time, O'Brian was the treasurer and Lubbert was the president.
