Summary:Steamboat Engineer's Certificate undersigned by the inspector for the District of Baltimore, MD, Joseph Bragg, certifying that Richard G. Moran is qualified as First Class Assistant. Document signed April 19, 1862. This certificate, valid for one year, attests that Richard G. Moran can perform all the duties required of him as engineer by the Act of Congress: the Steamboat Law of August 30, 1852. Certificate lists duties and liabilities of engineers.
