Summary: | "Luis Buena (1906-1964) was born in Abra, Philippines. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in World War II. He married Teresa Mendez in 1948, and they had three daughters. The family settled on Maury Avenue in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Here he poses for a picture in his officer's uniform on F Street in downtown Washington, D.C., in 1948." Donated by Teresa Mendez Buena. |
