Summary:Notes on the Quidangen Family and Clavelina "Lee" Quidangen Sarmiento, including background information about parents Felixberta Balbuena Amigable and Melchor Andres Quindangen, undated. Quidangen's father enlisted in the US Navy as was stationed at the Naval Gun Factory. Originally from Cavite City, Clavelina and her mother joined her father in D.C. in the 1940s. Clavelina graduated from high school in 1953, and obtained a B.S. in Home Economics in 1958. She taught high school for 30 years. The essay also includes Clavelina's experiences with discrimination. Donated by Quidangen family.
