Caption reads: Lutheran Theological Seminary stands on Seminary Ridge on the western border of the town (Ridge so named from Seminary). Gen. Reynolds took observation of the field from here, as did also Cen. [sic] Lee after his possession of the field. It was used as a hospital during and for several months after the battle.
