Summary:Hand written cookbook belonging to the Lloyd-Tilghman family of Wye House near Easton in Talbot County, Maryland, circa 1881. Inscription inside front cover reads "Mrs Lloyd, Wye House, 1881." This is likely Mary Lloyd Howard, wife of Edward Lloyd VII, the contemporary owner of Wye House. Wye House appears on the National Register of Historic Places and is classified as a National Historic Landmark. Includes recipes for a variety of foods, as well as home remedies and household cleaners.
