Summary:Independence Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, circa 1901-1907. Caption reads: "Independence Hall was built in 1729-35 as the Colonial State House, and in it the first Congresses met. Here the Declaration of Independence was signed July 4, 1776, and the first Constitution of the State of Pennsylvania adopted September 28, 1776.
