Summary:David Brown Hall, Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey, circa 1901-1906. Caption reads: "David Brown Hall. This dormitory, a gift of Mrs. David Brown in memory of her husband, was erected in 1891 on the plan of a Florentine Renaissance palace, the first two stories being of granite, the two upper ones of Pompeiian brick. The Hall, built at the edge of Prospect Gardens, is a hollow square with a courtyard 67 by 44 feet, and contains 50 suites of rooms." Postcard number: 5663.
