Summary:Jonathan Hale Homestead, Bath Township, Peninsula, Ohio, circa 1973-1990. Caption reads: "Exterior: Built about 1825 on ground purchased in 1810 by Jonathan Hale, who came from Connecticut to the Western Reserve. The house, handsome in proportion and detail, graces a most scenic location in the Cuyahoga River Valley. The rooms on the four different levels are furnished, for the most part, with family heirlooms. Maintained as a museum by the Western Reserve Historical Society, Cleveland, Ohio, it is open to the public from May through October each year." Postcard number: S-23999-1.
