Summary:Canal boat Monticello II, Coshocton, Ohio, circa 1961-1980. Caption reads: "August 21, 1830, the first canal boat, The Monticello, arrived at Roscoe and Coshocton. 'The townspeople were filled with awe and wonder!' Monticello II now plys a one-mile restored section of the old Ohio-Erie Canal. The craft is 78' long, 14 1/2' wide. It travels at 3/4 miles per hour and holds over 100 passengers." Postcard number: 96,450.
