Caption reads: "The Sherwood-Davidson House located in the Museum Park in Newark, Ohio, is one of the finest examples of Federal Architecture to be found in the Ohio Valley. It was probably built by the Sherwood family circa 1820, and has several noteworthy features in its design setting it apart from most Ohio houses of the period."
