Summary:Color image of Christ Church in Alexandria, Virginia, circa 1907-1914. Caption reads: "Christ Church, Alexandria, Va., was completed on February 27th, 1773. George Washington, at 33 years of age, was among its first vestrymen and the pew occupied by him and his family is still preserved. It can easily be visited in connection with a trip from Washington to Mt. Vernon. No. 61591, this series, shows the Tomb of Washington at Mt. Vernon. No. 61592, the Home of Washington. No. 61494, the room in which Washington died, and No. 61493, Martha Washington's Bedroom, Mt. Vernon Mansion." Postcard number: 61491.
