Summary:	Back of photo reads: "Disposal Plant and Sewers Emmitsburg Frederick County Maryland. It became necessary to lower grade on this ditch (which now carries Sewage from town) because the interceptor sewer line crosses this ditch in the distance and both grades were identical by Gaither H. Sykes Project Consultant." September 1936.
