Summary:This is a photo of Lloyd K. Garrison, Dean of Wisconsin Law School, standing at a podium and speaking to a crowd on February 26, 1938. He is wearing a name tag on his suit jacket that says he is a delegate for the National Lawyers Guild (NLG). NLG is a progressive bar association whose goal is to "use law for the people, uniting lawyers, law students, legal workers, and jailhouse lawyers to function as an effective force in the service of the people by valuing human rights over property interests."
