Summary:This pamphlet titled, "Office of Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County" was published in Annapolis, Maryland in December 1892. W.F. Petherbridge, the Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County, wrote a letter to B.F. Cummings, a Genealogist in Salt Lake City, Utah. Petherbridge stated in the letter that had prepared an index to all wills and intestate estates recorded and settled in the Orphans' Court from 1635-1777. Cummings wrote back on November 28, 1892 explaining that a copy of the index would be held in his library in Utah. A series of succeeding letters are printed in this pamphlet regarding Petherbridge's Index. The letters range in date from December 1892-March 8, 1898.
