I hope I will get to see you soon." Message reads back: "Hello Joe, how is my little friend. Please excuse my seeing negligence in answering your sweet post card of Aug. 9-07. You did not say whether your cousin from Tenn. was a girl or boy,if you had said she was a girl, I might have come down to meet her. Tenn & Ky. have the prettiest girls. Texas girls are sweet and pretty, she above, is merely a say so. Hoping you will forgive me. Goodbye, Austin." Message date: September 8, 1907; Postcard number: 884; Message included.
