Caption reads: "Overall view of the museum grounds showing Mount Clare Station, the nation's first rail depot built in 1830, and the old passenger-car roundhouse, which houses many of the museum's exhibits. The diesel-electric locomotive on the right, B & O #51, was built by the Electro-Motive Corp. in 1937. Chicago, South Shore & South Bend's #802 "Little Joe" to the left, built 1949 by GE, is 89 feet long. A 2-D+D-2 5500 HP electric, this type was the 2nd largest electric locomotive ever built."
