Summary:Ancient ceremonial cave, Frijoles Canyon, New Mexico, circa 1915-1926. Caption reads: "One climbs a series of ladders from the floor of Frijoles Canyon up and up a steep incline to a large ceremonial cave deeply set in the sheer cliff, 150 feet above the stream. The ancient kiva in this cave has been restored as it was when the cave dwellers worshipped here in the forgotten days before history began."
