Monomonock Inn, Caldwell, New Jersey, circa 1907-1914. Message reads: "Dear Friend, I wonder what you will think of me for being so tardy in fulfilling my promise to write. A day has not passed without bringing happy thoughts of our trip to Hartford and the pleasant evenings spent in the park or with you and Miss Pitkin, our attendance together on that Sunday in the Historic old church, Dr. P's fine sermon, our walk home through the beautiful Capitol grounds can never be erased from my memory. Sincerely yours, L. Louise Crone. Write to me soon. P.S. Mr. Baldwin sends kind regards to yourself and Miss Pitkin. Had hay fever quite severely for ten days after returning."
