Caption reads: "The Interior of Christ Church, Alexandria, Virginia, is the same as it was in colonial days. George Washington was one of the first vestrymen of this church. His pew is preserved as it was in his day. A neighboring pew still retains the name-plate of Robert E. Lee." Postcard number: R-64932.
