A benefit performance for the dancers of the Dance Exchange featuring guest artists Ajax Moving Company, Carol Penn and Wingborne and New Visions Dance Company, Kweli Smith, Jon Spelman, Garth Tate, and Mike Vargas. On April 20, 1990, Dancers of the Third Age performed "Exerpts from the repertory", Mike Vargas performed, Garth Tate performed, and Liz Lerman and the Dance Exchange performed "Docudance 1990: Dark Interlude". On April 21, 1990, performances were given by Ajax Moving Company, Jon Spelman, Kweli Smith ("Tough on Black Artists"; "Billie's Birthday"; "Ain't Nobody's Business If I Do") and Liz Lerman and the Dance Exchange's performance of "Docudance 1990: Dark Interlude". On Sunday April 22, 1990, Dancers of the Third Age performed "Excerpts from repertory", New Visions Dance Theater perfromed "What They Might Have Been" excerpts featuring "Consider Me Gone"; "I Believe"; and "Ain't It Funky", and Liz Lerman and the Dance Exchange performed "Docudance 1990: Dark Interlude."
