Caption:This photograph offers a general view of the Philips Pavilion. The Philips Pavilion was more than a building at the fair -- it was a multimedia experience displaying the technological prowess of the Philips company by combining light, sound, and color. Le Corbusier, commissioned as architect for the project, named the building with music composed by Edgar Varèse "Poème électronique."
