Summary:Sheet Metal Workers International Association (SMWIA) union members gathered on the Metro heading to Washington, D.C. to celebrate Solidarity Day. Men are holding signs that say "Sheet Metal Workers, Local Union 17, Boston, Massachusetts, Supports Solidarity Day." The Solidarity March occurred on September 19, 1981 and was a protest against President Reagan's union-busting policies.
