Message reads: "Friend Marie, Johnnie has been sick for a few days but is out again to attend to business. I missed him very much indeed. Regards to all best wishes to you. Adam." Message on back reads: "Marie: My fingers are somewhat cold this morning so I can't avoid this scribbling but Gosh my feet are like ice my nose is sweating I have a cold in the head but John is out for relief in shape of some medicine will be alright in a day or two best wishes to you Adam."
