Summary: | Letter written by Adele Stamp addressed to Byrd regarding dormitory issues on November 13, 1944. Stamp shared that a group of males returned from a Sadie Hawkins party drunk and caused a ruckus in the girls' residence hall, Dormitory 4. Stamp also informed Byrd that many of the girls' parents had called to complain and that the girls did not feel comfortable sleeping on the ground floor where the males came in. Stamp ultimately asked that telephones be put in the dormitory buildings so that this issue would be stopped sooner if it happened again in the future. |
