Summary: | Beginning in 1885, the Gilmore Band's annual tours began at the St. Louis Exposition. Expositions often included days devoted to single nationalities, and with this program, Gilmore saluted the music of Scotland. It was at the St. Louis Exposition that Gilmore died in 1892. Items in folders 9 and 15 are identical except for the printing medium. |
