Description |
The first issue of Local Noise, a punk fanzine from Washington, D.C. created by John Stabb, vocalist of the band Government Issue. This issue, published in 1981, features a report on the growing hardcore punk scene in D.C. The report includes references to the Untouchables, S.O.A., Black Market Baby, the Teen Idles, Youth Brigade, and Minor Threat. Following this issue, Local Noise would change its name to Critical List and publish several more issues.
