Portrait of Albert F. Woods (1866-1948), president of the Maryland State College of Agriculture from 1917 to 1926. As president of the college, Woods oversaw the merger between the Maryland State College of Agriculture and the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Woods Hall, built in 1948, was named in honor of Woods in 1954.
