This photograph album includes 200 photographs and other miscellaneous items that document the family life of Julius Bassin, his wife, Bea, and their two sons, Arthur and Jay Nelson, during the years 1915 - 1948. The album begins with Julius and Bea's early childhood, and then covers Julius's high school years, wedding to Bea, his service in Panama and in Tokyo during the Occupation of Japan, where he served as Chief of the Law Division of GHQ/SCAP from 1946 - 1952.
