Advertising flier promoting a concert by the Washington, D.C. hardcore band, Government Issue. The concert occurred on July 16, 1984 at King Kong Restaurant (referred to here as "King Kongs") in Adelphi, Maryland near the campus of the University of Maryland. Government Issue was one of the longest running bands from the first wave of Washington, D.C.'s hardcore scene, playing its first show at the end of 1980 and disbanding in 1989. This concert occurred circa the release of their 1984 album, "Joyride."
