Maryland Agricultural College Board of Trustees meeting files, 1912-1916. The files detail the Board's meetings immediately following the Great Fire of 1912, which swept through the Maryland Agricultural College and destroyed most of campus. The minutes also capture the election of President H.J. Patterson in 1913, the decision to admit women students to the college in 1914, the construction and opening of Calvert Hall in 1914, and the gradual transition of the college from private to public institution.
