His list of accomplishments reads as follows: "'M' in football, '08, '09. Captain football team '09. 'M' in baseball '09. 'M' in track '10. Member rifle team. Chairman Student Assembly. Chairman reception committee Rossbourg Club. President Y.M.C.A. Associate editor 'Triangle'. Associate business manager 'Reveille'. Drum major junior year. Salutatorian."
