Guitarist, singer, and songwriter Mark Knopfler performing with his band Dire Straits at the Bayou in Washington, D.C. in March 1979. Dire Straits performed both March 8th and 9th at the Georgetown nightclub. This photograph was taken by Don Hamerman who was working at the time at Unicorn Times, an alternative performing arts periodical in Washington, D.C. Hamerman's print includes parts of two images found on the negative that he shot.
