Journalist and writer Richard Harrington photographed in front of Takoma Metro station in Washington, D.C., circa 1978. Harrington wrote widely on popular music in the Washington, D.C. area, serving as the editor of the Unicorn Times, a monthly performing arts periodical in Washington, D.C. and later serving as pop music critic for the Washington Post. The photograph was taken by Don Hamerman, who was then a staff photographer for the Unicorn Times.
