Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Taro patch bordered by a related coarser and larger plant called "prak" by the Palauans. This may be the "ti leaves" of Hawaii or "yautia" of Central America. These areas are on the peat bog immediately south of the airfield on Angaur Island. RWS [Roy W. Simonson] included to show scale."
