Title |
Fugazi, Marginal Man, Ignition, and Fire Party concert flier, Wilson Center, Washington, D.C., September 3, 1987
|
Description |
Circa 1980s photocopy of a flier promoting a concert by the Washington, D.C. punk bands Fugazi, Marginal Man, Ignition, and Fire Party at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C. on September 3, 1987. This was Fugazi's first concert, a notable event considering the substantial influence the band would come to have on the punk subculture. Sharon Cheslow photocopied the original flier for the concert while conducting research in the 1980s for the book that she co-authored on the D.C. punk scene, "Banned In D.C."
