Freshly cut Babelthuap agglomerate, a volcanic andesitic rock, on the west side of Arakabesang Island. Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Near view of freshly exposed agglomerate in the cut shown in I25 with my red pocket knife to show scale. The dark gray, slightly bluish rock is composed of plagioclase feldspars and ferromagnesian minerals and ferromagnesian minerals such as augite and hornblende."
